Shinola, the Detroit-based makers known for modern watches, bicycles, journals, leather goods and commitment to craft, is thrilled to host its first Valentine’s Day Shopping event.
Some of Miami’s most fashionable people linked up with hosts Rachael Russell and Giordana Spadei to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day at Shinola Wynwood. Each host curated a section of the store with their favorite “Gifts to Give” for the annual day of romance. This selection of curated goods included Shinola watches, journals, crisloid dominoes, sunglasses as well as pieces from Shinola’s first ever 12-piece SS16 Women’s Leather Goods collection designed by Co-Leather Design Directors Richard Lambertson and John Truex. “Our focus is on creating casual modern luxury with clean designs and attention to detail,” said Lambertson.
Throughout the night guests relished passed canapes, sumptuous desserts and signature Shinola Cola and whiskey cocktails. Renowned illustrator Jessy Nite will be stationed within the store on Februrary 13th from 12-5 PM as a part of Shinola’s Valentine’s Day celebrations to customize Shinola journals.
Founded in 2011, Shinola was conceived with the belief that products should be well made and built to last. As makers of modern watches, bicycles, journals and leather goods, Shinola stands for skill at scale, the preservation of craft and the beauty of industry.
